At the point of this writing, Melia Hotel Koh Samui has not officially opened its doors to the public (official opening date: 1 Nov 2020) but there are already quite a number of nice reviews that have already surfaced on the internet about this hotel. Melia Hotel Koh Samui is Spanish hotel group Melia Hotels International’s first resort hotel in Thailand and they surely did not fail to deliver the expectation so far.

Inspired by the rich maritime history in Asia, Melia Hotel Koh Samui introduces a category of suites called “The Level Boat Suite” that is uniquely shaped to look like boats from the outside. Synonymous with the yacht theme of blue and white tones throughout the resort’s compounds, lobby, ground and 2nd level infinity pools facing the equally blue sea, the decor of the suites and other rooms comprises the same soothing tone of decor as well.

There are so many Instagrammable spots and activities to indulge in within the resort: suntanning on the white sandy beaches, chilling in your own balcony in one of the boat suites while your kids swim by in the lazy river (the hotel’s loop pool) right beside it, playful moments by the white water slides, and even private balconies of some ground level suites that extends directly to the main pool.

We are sure you will make so many fond memories with your partner and families at this hotel that you will definitely be back for more.

Designed in the traditional style of Thai-Chinese vessels, the Level Boat Suite with Pool Access are exquisite 91 sqm duplex suites built to reflect the spirit of Koh Samui’s seafaring heritage. The suite has a private terrace that overlooks the lush gardens and offers direct access to the refreshing waters of the resort’s loop pool, plus luxurious amenities and exclusive services reserved for The Level guests.

Although not the most spacious in duplex suites we have seen so far, this suite is definitely one of the most unique you will find in Koh Samui.
