Housed in an iconic 1900s heritage building located in the Central Business District, SO/ Sofitel Singapore is one of the most luxurious boutique hotels on our list. Designed by French interior designer Isabelle Miajaa and with signature touches from the late fashionista Karl Lagerfeld, you know you are in for a memorable and ATAS (luxurious) stay when you check in to this hotel.
Fusing Singapore‘s colonial past with contemporary Parisian-inspired interior, we are immediately greeted with a brightly lit atrium backed in the warm glow of marble, mirrors and hexagons upon reaching the hotel main lobby.
The highlight of the hotel lies in each of the 125 rooms which is designed with a mix of French architecture and modern taste.

    Rooms

For couples looking to get a taste of French luxury, we recommend checking out the So Urban King Room at the Heritage Wing.
For a while, we almost forgot that we are still in Singapore as the room is decorated in a Neoclassical style as seen throughout the hotel. The floor is made of parquet wood while paintings reminiscent of French culture are hung against the wall that is decorated with wall moldings.
The marbled bathroom is just as luxurious as you can get at many of the ATAS hotels with the walk-in rainfall showers and backlit mirrors, that you sometimes forget that SO Sofitel Singapore is actually marketed as a boutique hotel.

The following are just some of the amenities you can expect:
    Fitness centre access
    Pool access
    Baby bed
    Work desk in all rooms
    High-tech amenities controlled via iPad
    Illy Espresso machines
    Stocked Minibars

    Restaurant

Get ready for an exquisite culinary experience when you dine at Xperience Restaurant which is helmed by culinary designer Lorenz Hoja who presents modern European dishes with an Italian flare, right before your eyes in an open kitchen.
After dinner, the 1927 Rooftop Bar is where every guest is treated to fashionable and entertaining social experiences including the renowned monthly pool parties near the infinity rooftop pool and sun lounges.

    Utilities and Entertainment

SoFit Gym is located on level two and is well equipped with modern treadmills, weight-training equipment and free weights. After a tiring workout, be sure to take a dip in the infinity pool located at level 6 while you indulge in taking in the sublime views of Singapore’s skyline.
