    Rooms

There are several types of Tugu Hotel Malang which are unique and elegant, and are very comfortable to spend the night. The following are some of these types:

    APSARA RESIDENCE

Apsara Residence is inspired by the romantic legend of a handsome young prince who prayed for the most beautiful daughter to become his beloved wife. The Gods finally answered his prayers, and sent the most beautiful Apsara dancer from Nirvana. Apsara flies down and dances in prince's royal chamber for three whole months, and at last she realizes she has fallen in love with prince too.

It consists of one private spa, the 'Hall of Dancers'; antique canopy with large outdoor tub; separate romantic dining room; as well as a spacious bedroom with a beautiful antique bed 3.5 meters wide.

    SALEH RADEN SUITE

This suite is inspired by the life of Raden Saleh, a great artist from the Javanese royal family and ancestor of modern Indonesian painting who lived in Java in the mid-19th century.

The suite, which consists of a beautiful bedroom and separate living area, has a romantic 19th century Javanese atmosphere, with authentic Javanese furniture from the 1850s.

    BABAH SUITE

The indigenous Nonya Baba culture began when young people left mainland China in search of a more prosperous life in Southeast Asia, a tradition that dates back more than four centuries. Over the years, the new culture was gradually shaped by mixed marriages: the result of a combination of local culture, Chinese culture, and Western influences, with Chinese culture generally being the dominant influence.

The Babah Suite depicts the life of the Peranakan or "Nonya Baba" people in Malang around the 1850s with its authentic Babah-style woodcarving bed and furniture which is a cultural hallmark.

    EAST JAVA ZAMRUD SUITE

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the 2-bedroom Kampong Suite upstairs represents the attractive Javanese Art Deco style of the early 20th century.

This suite occupies the top floor of a spacious villa with a private spa area, sunken bathtub, antique hardwood floors and a balcony. The master bedroom has a king sized four-poster carved wood bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds.

    DEVATA SUITE

This suite, located near Apsara Residence, has a style best described as a more contemporary Bohemian South East Asia. The low headboard is a beautiful, colorful mural of Apsara dancers.

This suite is beautifully designed for guests who prefer a more modern atmosphere but with a distinctive Tugu touch. The unique bathroom, framed with carved Javanese wood panels and ancient iron panels from the colonial era, invites guests to sit on blue iron wood while bathing like royalty.

    MOONLIGHT HONEY SUITE

Located on the third floor and overlooking "Jan Pieterszoon Coen Plein", this spacious and romantic suite is located on the 3rd floor, overlooking the main 'Square' (main square in front of the main town hall, with lotus pond and monument. historic "Tugu" in the middle of the square). Restaurant

At Hotel Tugu Malang, eating is not just eating in general. This is a trip back in time to feel the beauty of Indonesia's history. In doing so, our range of sumptuous dinners choreographed by kings of the Majapahit Empire in the 14th century, colonial influenced dining experiences and authentic flavors through our two restaurants have been specially selected. Dining here is a world apart from other experiences in Indonesia, it opens the door to glimpse into the beautiful simplicity and rich culture of exotic cooking. Here are some of the restaurants you can enjoy:

    MELATI RESTAURANT

The only restaurant in Malang that presents a classic and romantic atmosphere of Malang Tempo Doeloe (Malang Nostalgia Period), Melati Restaurant is famous for its original Indonesian home cooking recipes, Chinese Peranakan menu, as well as a menu of tender and juicy steaks. from ancient Dutch colonial recipes of batter-fried steaks to gourmet French grilled steaks. With a full menu of breakfast breads baked fresh from the oven daily, this restaurant is also a favorite breakfast and lunch spot, the only one of its kind with a serene Javanese ambiance and lush tropical greenery. Melati Restaurant is open 24 hours all day.

SAIGONSAN RESTAURANT & ROOFTOP TERRACE THE GLORIOUS PAST OF INDOCHINA

SaigonSan Restaurant embodies the spirit of Indochina, including Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Burma and Cambodia. Connected to the iconic Tugu Malang Hotel, this inn offers beautiful décor and modern Indochina cuisine that recounts its rich history dating back centuries.

SaigonSan Rooftop Terrace is the best place to enjoy the moment, spend lazy afternoons and romantic evenings where time stops, people watch on the streets below, and watch red twilight slowly replaced by twinkling lights and stars.

There are many other luxurious and elegant restaurants that you can enjoy at this hotel.

    Utilities and Entertainment

    APSARA SPA

The ambiance of Apsara Spa is inspired by the romantic tales of relations between Indonesia and Cambodia hundreds of years ago, while the treatments are inspired by the heavenly beauty of the dancer goddess Apsara (see description of the nymphs under the Apsara Suite above)). Apsara Spa is an oasis of peace, heaven on earth secluded from the outside world.

One of the signature treatments at Apsara Spa is a pampering massage that combines dances performed by Apsara dancers (Yin), and stronger deep tissue massage (Yang) from ancient Java. We highly recommend 'Day Dream in Angkor': a comprehensive 4 hour romantic treatment for two people using a variety of natural exotic herbs, traditional spices and local exotic flowers, including a complete aromatherapy which historically could only be done exclusively for the royal family main. This romantic treat can also include a private gourmet dinner or lunch at the Tirta Gangga Dining Room.
