From May 15, 2022, foreign visitors will not be required to take any COVID-19 tests to enter Vietnam, according to the government. The move was made as the daily number of infections and fatalities has dipped significantly since March 15 while the vaccination rate is high.
Many countries and territories have gradually eased anti-epidemic measures, including covid-19 testing requirements for people entering the country.
In Vietnam, epidemic prevention has yielded significant outcomes following the introduction of epidemic prevention methods. In light of this, the Ministry of Health has issued a written regulation ceasing the use of medical declarations for people entering Vietnam beginning April 27.
Specifically, from May 15, when entering Vietnam, you won’t need to take any COVID-19 test. Medical or travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum coverage of USD 10,000 is not required. You can also pass through without declaring on PC-COVID mobile application.
