Thailand Reopening Quarantine-free For 46 Countries

Reopening of Thailand Quarantine-Free and here’s what we know so far

Thailand announced that they will reopen Thailand with a quarantine-free reopening to visitors from 45 countries to be able to revive the economy in the tourism sector. 

Thailand is known for its popular tourist destinations and has been a country where most people all over the world are anticipating its opening. The food, culture, vibes and scenery are what is most missed, and of course, reuniting with loved ones. 

The places that will be reopened from November 1 to vaccinated visitors are:

  • Bangkok
  • Krabi
  • Chon Buri (Banglamung, Pattaya, Si Racha, Ko Si Chang, and Sattahip – Na Jomtien and Bang Sarey)
  • Chiang Mai (Mueang, Doi Tao, Mae Rim, and Mae Taeng)
  • Trat (Ko Chang)
  • Buri Ram (Mueang)
  • Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin and Nong Kae)
  • Phang-Nga
  • Phetchaburi (Cha-Am)
  • Phuket
  • Ranong (Ko Phayam)
  • Rayong (Ko Samet)
  • Loei (Chiang Khan)
  • Samut Prakan (Suvarnabhumi Airport)
  • Surat Thani (Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan, and Ko Tao)
  • Nong Khai (Mueang, Sangkhom, Si Chiang Mai, and Tha Bo)
  • Udon Thani (Mueang, Ban Dung, Kumphawapi, Na Yung, Nong Han, and Prachaksinlapakhom)

In addition to the lifting of the nighttime curfew, businesses and venues across these destinations are allowed to open.

Events and activities are allowed to be held, there will be a maximum of 500 people.

All types of entertainment venues, including pubs, bars, and karaoke shops are to remain closed. However, these businesses may undertake preparation to be ready for reopening.
